Summer fun with friends that are moving on.

There are a few bad sides to being a military brat, one of them is having made good friends and then the dreaded moving day comes for one of you. Dorsey and Chesney made 2 great friends here at Ft Richardson. They were Jordan and Jasmine, sisters who just happened to be the same age as my girls. Jordan and Dorsey played baseball together last year, and Chesney and Jasmine cheered them on. Since then we have had lots of fun together, and the thing that Chesney remembers the most about their friendship is going to the movies together. They are going on to Ft Hood, TX now, and we will miss them so much. Maybe we will meet up again one day. Until then, we had a nice playdate at the park by our house this weekend. I dont think that Chesney understands that they are leaving, she just kept saying I will see her at the movies.

Gotta get started somewhere

So I finally got up my own blog after reading EVERYONE else's all this time. I decided that it would give family back home a view into our lives, but secretly just needed a good stress reliever and figured this was cheaper than massage therapy. Today was one crazy day, and ended with Daddy having to work overnight CQ duty..... BOOOOO!!!! We did enjoy a fun day at the Teddy Bear Picnic with lots of friends. Hot dogs and prizes always make for a good day. We got Ari signed up for flag football and Dorsey for cheer, now we will have another busy schedule to look forward to. We had some aliens invade our home, by means of a marker down the hallway, but they were quickly sent packing when Mommy said that they did not belong there. Then we ended our night with a good game of softball at the Majors All Stars game. They didnt win, but we love the game and the girls so it is all good.
